How it startedHow G Clef started
Robby Dee has been performing since he was a kid — staging long, elaborate shows for his parents and their dinner guests before he'd ever touched a real stage. That early encouragement turned into a career as a DJ, entertainer, and lifelong student of live music.
G Clef grew out of the same instinct. The best part of any show is the moment the audience feels connected to it, and that only happens when the people on stage are genuinely good. G Clef is Robby Dee's answer to that: a company built to find those acts, vouch for them personally, and put them in front of people who'll feel it too.
What "curated" actually means
Every act is seen live first.
Nobody joins the roster from a submission or a demo reel. Robby Dee hears them play before the name goes on anything.
The bar doesn't move for volume.
G Clef stays a small, named roster — not an open marketplace — and turns down bookings that need an act outside it rather than stretching to fill the date.
One name answers for every show.
Whoever's on stage, you're holding G Clef accountable, not the individual act.
